Whenever our Christian community in Tokyo holds special events for sharing our faith to friends and other guests, we usually have socials afterwards wherein food and beverages prepared voluntarily by community members are served.  And so last Sunday, when we had such an event in our area, Cerg and I prepared some foods to bring.  Cerg cooked Pork and Chicken , one of her specialties.  Because I also wanted to help, I prepared , a popular hors d'oeuvre (appetizer) in the Philippines. Two Filipino-Americans, both representing the US, competed in this year's Winter Olympics.  One of them, John Robert Celski,  bagged the bronze medal in the Short Track Speed Skating while the other, Amanda Evora, placed 10th in the figure skating pair's competition.
